Dr Paul T. Owombo is a seasoned academic known for his dedication to education, research and mentorship. He is an Agricultural Economist, with specialisation in Resource and Environmental Economics. He obtained Bachelor of Agriculture (B. Agric.), Master of Science (M.Sc.) and Ph.D in Agricultural Economics from the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, in 2008, 2012 and 2016, respectively. He is a distinguished scholar with many publications to his credit. He is a member of the Nigerian Association of Agricultural Economists.

Olusegun Agagu University of Science and Technology (OAUSTECH), Okitipupa was established by the Ondo State government in 2008. It was initially named as Ondo State University of Science and Technology (OSUSTECH).
It is a technology-based institution, which aims at providing the needed manpower training for industrial and technological development of Ondo State and Nigeria as a whole.
