Dr. Patrick Taiwo Ogunboyo, a Senior Lecturer, had his PhD in Electrical Engineering (Power and Energy Systems Engineering) from University of KwaZulu-Natal, Durban, South Africa and M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering (Power Engineering) from Federal University of Technology Akure. He worked for several years in industries and academic institutions in Nigeria and South Africa from 2002 to 2018. His main research interest is Power Quality and Reliability Assessment in Power Distribution Systems, Electric Power System Networks Analysis, HVAC/HVDC Power Generation and Transmission Systems, Renewable Energy, Smart Power Devices, Smart Grids, Grid Integration of RE Using Power Electronics, Embedded Generation and Power Quality, and Grid Integration of Renewable Energy Using Smart Technologies and Innovation for Smart Cities, and more. Dr. Ogunboyo is a registered member of the Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN, R27, 370), a registered member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineering (IEEE, #92966924, USA) and a member of South Africa Institute of Electrical Engineer (SAIEE). He is a reviewer for both national and international journals and conferences. Dr Ogunboyo has published several journal articles and conferences papers both internationally and nationally. His research work has been cited by more than 195 authors in the field of Electrical Engineering, Technology and Science. Dr. Ogunboyo is a dedicated and knowledgeable lecturer and researcher in the field of Electrical Power and Energy Systems Engineering.
Olusegun Agagu University of Science and Technology (OAUSTECH), Okitipupa was established by the Ondo State government in 2008. It was initially named as Ondo State University of Science and Technology (OSUSTECH).
It is a technology-based institution, which aims at providing the needed manpower training for industrial and technological development of Ondo State and Nigeria as a whole.
